Laredo Medical Center is proud to welcome Ricardo J.G. Cigarroa, II, M.D., to its medical staff.
Dr. Cigarroa II, son of Dr. Ricardo Cigarroa, brings to the community the latest advancements in science and medicine in the field of Interventional Cardiology—an area of medicine that is critical when caring for patients who require life-saving catheter-based
treatment of structural heart disease. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and General Cardiology.
Dr. Cigarroa II received his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. Then he completed his internship and residency in internal medicine, and fellowships in cardiovascular medicine, interventional cardiology and
structural heart interventions at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, in Boston, Massachusetts.
