Laredo Medical Center Welcomes Family Medicine Physician Dr. Pablo Francisco Martinez III

Laredo Medical Center and Laredo Physician Associates are proud to welcome Pablo Francisco Martinez, III, M.D., to the medical staff. Dr. Martinez is a board-certified family medicine physician with a special interest in preventive care, chronic disease management and caring for older adults.
Dr. Martinez received his medical education at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine in Bryan, Texas. He completed the Laredo Medical Center/University of the Incarnate Word-TIGMER Family Medicine Residency Program in 2024, receiving training in inpatient medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, geriatrics and general family medicine. He also completed three years of general surgery training at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California, gaining experience in surgical care, critical care, wound management and minor procedures.
Dr. Martinez brings experience as a lead physician at a local primary care clinic, where he cared primarily for older adults. He is dedicated to providing patient-centered care and helping patients take an active role in their health. Services offered include annual wellness visits, and the evaluation and management of acute and chronic health conditions, including heart disease, diabetes and depression.
His commitment to service extends beyond the clinic. Dr. Martinez provided free medical care to underserved communities in Temple, Texas, as well as medical mission trips to remote communities in Tanzania and Peru.
Beginning October 19, Dr. Martinez will welcome new patients, ages 18 and older. He is fluent in English and Spanish. Most insurance plans are welcome.
