Laredo Medical Center Welcomes Mario Flores, M.D., Family Medicine

LAREDO, Texas – Laredo Medical Center and Primary Care Associates of Laredo are proud to welcome Mario Flores, M.D., to its medical staff. Dr. Flores is a family medicine physician.
Dr. Flores received his medical education at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. He completed his residency as part of the Laredo Medical Center family medicine residency program, class of 2024. He graduated from St. Augustine High School, and attended Texas A&M International University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in biology.
Dr. Flores has a special interest in preventive medicine for the pediatric, adolescent and adult populations. He also enjoys helping patients improve their health and wellness, both physical and mental.
As a family practitioner, Dr. Flores has received training in both acute care of injuries and chronic management of diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and thyroid diseases.
Services offered will include annual physicals, well women exams, pre-participation sports physicals, skin biopsies, suturing of small lacerations, skin tag removal and more.
Dr. Flores looks forward to providing quality and compassionate care in our community. As of September 18, he is accepting new patients, ages 5 and up. Most insurance plans are welcome.
