Laredo Medical Center Welcomes Family Medicine Physician Dr. Parul Mamgain

Laredo Medical Center and Laredo Physician Associates are proud to welcome Parul Mamgain, M.D., to its medical staff. Dr. Mamgain is a board-certified family medicine physician.
Dr. Mamgain has a deep personal connection to the Laredo community. From 2017 to 2023, she had the privilege of caring for local families as a physician assistant. She then completed the TIGMER Family Medicine Residency Program at Laredo Medical Center, serving as a resident physician from 2023 to 2026.
Dr. Mamgain earned her medical degree from the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences in Dehradun, India.
As a family medicine physician, Dr. Mamgain provides personalized care for patients ages five and older. She has received training in preventive medicine, acute illness evaluation and the management of chronic conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, thyroid disorders and heart disease.
Services offered will include annual physicals and preventive care; evaluation and treatment of common illnesses and other non-emergency medical concerns; well-woman exams; menopause and midlife women’s healthcare; geriatric care; health screenings; lifestyle counseling; and more.
For Dr. Mamgain, caring for the people of Laredo is more than a profession—it is a privilege and a calling close to her heart. She is grateful to continue her career as a physician and to serve the community with compassionate, personalized care for patients and their families.
Beginning September 14, Dr. Mamgain will welcome new patients. Most insurance plans are welcome.
