Laredo Medical Center Welcomes Dr. Widian Hadi, General Surgery

Laredo Medical Center and Laredo Physician Associates are proud to welcome Widian Hadi, M.D., to Laredo and to its medical staff. Dr. Hadi is board-certified in general surgery with a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery from Orlando Health - Colon and Rectal Institute.
Dr. Hadi received her medical degree from the University of Baghdad, College of Medicine, in Baghdad, Iraq, and completed her general surgery residency at the Yale New Haven Hospital, University of Vermont. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
Dr. Hadi says she is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered surgical care.
“As a surgeon, my dedication is first and foremost to my patients, particularly since surgery can be a moment of uncertainty and vulnerability. My role is to listen, explain, and guide my patients through every step of their care with clarity and compassion,” she said.
Among her areas of interest are: gallbladder removal, appendix removal, hernia surgery, colon surgery, hemorrhoidectomy and anal surgery, as well as diagnostic and screening colonoscopy.
