Community invited to ribbon cutting, tours and refreshments on June 25
LAREDO, Texas – Laredo Medical Center will celebrate the grand opening of its new Laredo Medical Center Buena Vista ER on Thursday, June 25, at 10 a.m., and community members are invited to attend the special event marking the expansion of emergency care services in southeast Laredo.
The celebration will take place at 4019 Cuatro Vientos Road, near Whataburger and the Buena Vista Sports Complex, and will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, guided tours of the facility, hors d’oeuvres and refreshments. The new emergency room is scheduled to begin caring for patients on July 1.
The project represents a significant investment in the rapidly growing southern portion of the city and will expand access to emergency services for area residents and businesses. The new facility will join Laredo Medical Center’s existing emergency care network, which includes its main hospital-based emergency department and a freestanding emergency room in north Laredo.
“Laredo Medical Center Buena Vista ER reflects our ongoing commitment to meeting the healthcare needs of our growing community and surrounding communities in Rio Bravo, El Cenizo, Zapata and Hebbronville,” said Jorge Leal, FACHE, chief executive officer of Laredo Medical Center. “We look forward to welcoming residents, business leaders and key stakeholders to see firsthand how this new facility will help enhance access to quality emergency care in southeast Laredo.”
Additional details about the facility, its services and specialized capabilities will be shared during the grand opening celebration.
