Laredo Medical Center Welcomes Yanick Ekortarh, M.D., Family Medicine

Laredo Medical Center and Primary Care Associates of Laredo are proud to welcome Yanick A. Ekortarh, M.D., to Laredo and to its medical staff. Dr. Ekortarh is a Texas-licensed, board-Certified family medicine physician.
Dr. Ekortarh received his medical education at Universidad Iberoamericana School of Medicine in the Dominican Republic. He completed his residency at Bella Vista Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.
Dr. Ekortarh has a special interest in preventive care for patients ages 5 and over, including the management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, and women’s health. In addition to well-checks, he also administers PAP smear for women and the management of low testosterone for men.
Family medicine is a specialty that integrates the biological, clinical and behavioral sciences. The scope of family medicine encompasses all ages, both sexes, each organ system and every disease entity.
Dr. Ekortarh looks forward to providing exceptional care in our community with patience and compassion. He is fluent in English and Spanish. He is now accepting patients. Most insurance plans are welcome.
