Laredo Medical Center to Boost Ear, Nose and Throat Care

Community is invited to grand reopening of Laredo Physician Associates - ENT medical office of Dr. Enrique T. Garcia on June 13
Laredo, TX – A major boost for ear, nose and throat care in Laredo and Webb County will be celebrated during the grand reopening of Laredo Medical Center affiliate, Laredo Physician Associates - ENT, on Thursday, June 13, at 10 a.m. at 1710 E. Saunders.
Hospital leadership and staff will be joined by medical staff, the Laredo Chamber of Commerce and other well-wishers at the ceremonial ribbon cutting for the newly enhanced medical office of Enrique T. Garcia, M.D. The community is invited to attend. The office is located at Tower B, Second Floor, Suite B-250.
“Laredo Medical Center and Laredo Physician Associates is excited to add a new and much-needed specialty – and to have Dr. Garcia at the helm of our otolaryngology program, eliminating the need to travel out of town for specialized treatment for ear, nose and throat care,” says CEO Jorge Leal, FACHE.
Dr. Garcia has been providing ear, nose and throat care in Laredo and Webb County for more than three decades. Dr. Garcia, board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, began his private practice in Laredo in 1992 and has been a member of LMC’s medical staff since 1997. Dr. Garcia is the vice chair of the LMC board of directors and a member for more than 20 years. He also served as vice chief of staff in 2010 and chief of staff in 2011.
Dr. Garcia is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and completed his residency at the University of Health Science Center at Houston. Furthermore, Dr. Garcia completed a fellowship from the Baylor College of Medicine in Dallas.
Dr. Garcia is pleased to continue offering ENT treatment to Laredoans and those in surrounding communities exclusively at Laredo Medical Center. He is fluent in English and Spanish. ENT services include treatment for hearing and ear conditions, including infections, chronic hearing problems and balance disorders; nasal conditions, including allergies, sinus problems and chronic sinusitis; throat and voice conditions, including swallowing-related conditions and upper digestive tract/esophageal disorders; and head and neck conditions, including cancer, infectious disease, thyroid disease and nerve conditions that affect sight, smell, hearing and facial nerves.
