Beat the Back-to-School Rush with Sports Physicals at Laredo Careclinics

Summer break for students who are out of school may have started, but parents already can start beating next year's back-to-school rush.
Laredo CareClinic is now offering back-to-school sports physicals and TB tests for student-athletes, cheerleaders, band members or any other organization that requires a school physical. The cost is $25 per physical and $10 for the TB test.
Students will be seen on a walk-in basis only. Parents are advised to bring their child’s physical form with the health history section completed and signed. For those who don’t have the form, they can obtain it at the clinic.
In addition, students should bring their eye glasses or contact lenses, and, if applicable, a clearance letter from their doctor for patients with heart problems, surgeries or fractures within the past year.
Affiliated with Laredo Medical Center, Laredo CareClinics are located in north and south Laredo. Parents can choose the location more convenient to take their child:
- Laredo CareClinic (North): 10201 McPherson, Suite 300 (across from United Day School) open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
- Laredo CareClinic (South): 4415 U.S. Highway 83, Unit 100 (Walmart parking lot) open Monday-Friday from 4-10 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
