2022 Medical Executive Committee Ensures Highest Standards Among Medical Staff at Laredo Medical Center

Laredo Medical Center announces its Medical Executive Committee for 2022. The Medical Executive Committee has the primary authority for activities related to self-governance of the medical staff and for performance improvement of the professional services provided by all practitioners privileged through the medical staff process. Some duties of the Medical Executive Committee include representing and acting on behalf of the medical staff in the intervals between medical staff meetings, coordinating and implementing the professional and organizational activities and policies of the medical staff, receiving and acting upon reports and recommendations from medical staff departments, recommending action to the governing body on medical staff matters, and evaluating the medical care rendered to patients at Laredo Medical Center.
