Pregnancy Pregnancy is an exciting time for parents-to-be. You want to know as much as you can about your developing baby and how your actions will affect his health. Use this information to help you make informed decisions from conception through delivery.

Your Newborn Baby Sleeping, eating, crying, cooing—your new arrival will keep you busy. You'll soon figure out his or her patterns and preferences.

Parental permission is required to view the photos of these bundles of joy, so be sure to ask the new parents about this service.

Your baby will be here before you know it. Start off on the right foot by enrolling in Tiny Toes Maternity Club offered exclusively by Laredo Medical Center (LMC). Tiny Toes was developed to help make your childbirth experience an even more treasured lifetime event. Club members receive amenities and an array of exclusive discounts from participating merchants.

Expectant mothers become registered members of the Tiny Toes Maternity Club after completing LMC’s free prenatal class prior to her delivery. After registration, mothers can begin to receive club member gifts, benefits, and discounts.

Prenatal Classes

To register for prenatal classes, mothers should be in at least their fourth month of pregnancy. Classes are held in English or Spanish. Please call 796-4505 to register.

Prenatal Classes: Held the 3rd & 4th Tuesday of each month and each class is 2.5 hours. Classes start at 6:30 p.m., in the Community Center.

Due to the holiday season, November & December classes will be on the 1st & 2nd Tuesday of each month. Healthy snacks will be provided during all classes.
