Premier Wound Care Center

Our mission at the Premier Wound Care Center is to improve the quality of life for patients with chronic wounds and to reduce the number of amputations and other chronic conditions associated with problem wounds.

At Premier Wound Care Center, several scientific wound care modalities and procedures are used in treating chronic wounds, including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and skin grafts.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is the delivery of 100% oxygen under two or three times the normal atmospheric pressure. The therapy is an attempt to treat wounds caused by various illnesses such as non-healing diabetic wounds, progressive necrotizing infections and even general injuries to name a few.

Skin grafts is the use of real human skin engineered in a lab and placed over a patient’s chronic wound. It works by providing growth factors and collagen, and helps improve the wound bed letting the patient’s own body positively respond to the wound.

The Premier Wound Care Center treats all in-house patients, as well as patients on an out-patient basis. The Center is equipped with six exam rooms and four Hyperbaric Oxygen Chambers. It includes the same modern equipment found in larger cities with healthcare professionals that are trained in the same skills and knowledge of experts around the country.

The team of physicians include Podiatrists, General Surgeons, Family Practitioners, Internists and Cardio Thoracic Surgeons, who together work towards treating chronic wounds in diabetics and other patients whose wounds will not heal.

The staff at Premier Wound Care are all certified in advanced cardiac life support, with all fifteen healthcare providers eligible for board certification.

The Premier Wound Care Center is designed to work in partnership with the patient’s physician. Advanced therapies and patient-focused procedures speed up healing and give patients a chance to enjoy their lives again.
