Wound Care Center
‘Saving lives and limbs everyday’—that’s how lots of patients have come to describe the work being done everyday at LMC’s Premier Wound Care Center. The center is comprised of specialized healthcare professionals each certified in hyperbaric therapy and wound care. The center has 6 private exam rooms and includes a highly skilled team of Podiatrists, General Surgeons, Family Practitioners, Internists and Cardio Thoracic Surgeons. The center treats all in-house patients, as well as patients on an out-patient basis.
Patients who are sometimes close to losing limbs to diabetes are being treated successfully using several methods of therapies, including Hyperbaric Oxygen, surgery and skin grafts.
