The Ambulatory Care Center North (ACCN) is one of Laredo Medical Center's outpatient facility. Located at 7210 McPherson Road, ACCN provides our community with flexible scheduling options and a conveniently established location in our city's northern area. A full array of surgical and radiological procedures can be provided at the center. ACCN also houses a radiology department equipped with the Kodak digital x-ray system and picture archiving and communications system (PACS). Together, these technologies can provide radiologists with instantaneous electronic access to medical imaging exams and create faster turn-around times of radiology reports. These exams include: CT scans; nuclear medicine; mammography; fluoroscopy; ultrasonography; tomography; routine diagnostic imaging; and mobile radiology. In addition, ACCN offers blood and urine collection for standard exams.

Facility Overview

ACCN is a comprehensive surgical center designed not only for utility, but also to enhance the comfort, convenience and privacy, of our patients and their caregivers. ACCN provides a comfortable and spacous waiting area equipped with a confidential in-house paging system to maintain patient privacy. The facility also includes:

• Three operating rooms
• Three endoscopy suites
• One eye laser room
• Six PACU stations
• 13 cubicles
• a Kodak digital x-ray system

The center is staffed by:
• a pharmacist
• nursing personnel (RNs, ORTs, CSTs, CNAs)
• radiology staff (Imaging Specialist, Radiology Technicians, Clerk )
• laboratory processing technicians
• admitting clerks
• administrative personnel

Hours of operation:
Monday - Thursday 7:00 am to 5:30 pm
Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
