Empowering women to take charge of their life—that’s the mission of Laredo Medical Center’s Healthy Woman program. Women are primarily responsible for taking care of health matters in the home—for the children or the spouse—but most times ignore their own health. At LMC, women’s health is valued and a priority.

LMC’s Healthy Woman program is a free resource designed to empower women with the knowledge and confidence to make informed healthcare decisions for themselves and their loved ones. Women are invited to monthly health seminars and events, and receive regular email and direct mail communication. Designed by women, for women, the program will arm women with the abilities to take charge of their health and the health of their family.

Membership in the program is free for women between the ages of 21 and 65.
