John Ulbricht - COO

John Ulbricht serves as COO of Laredo Medical Center. He has been the hospital's COO since March of 2004. Mr. Ulbricht has over 28 years healthcare experience, with 17 years being in healthcare operations and administration. John moved to Laredo from Marion, Illinois where he served as CEO for Heartland Regional Medical Cente. Prior to that, he spent 13 years in Corpus Christi, Texas, where he was Administrator of Doctor's Regional Medical Center, COO of Corpus Christi Medical Center and Assistant Administrator for Humana Hospital Corpus Christi. John's healthcare career started at Suburban Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, where he worked for 12 years in the Diagnostic Imaging Department.

Mr. Ulbricht is very community oriented and serves on several boards including, Casa De Misericordia, the United Way, and the Girl Scouts. John is also proud to be a member of the Laredo Daybreak Rotary.

Mr. Ulbricht is a graduate of Bellarmine College in Louisville, Kentucky where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. John's wife's name is Suzette, she is a registered nurse and a horse enthusiast. Suzette and John have one son, Nathan who lives in Florida. John enjoys golf, fishing, horses, hunting and the outdoors.
