In 1894, Mercy Hospital opened its doors marking the beginnings of a vision that one hundred and nine years later continues to manifest itself. In 2003, we became Laredo Medical Center as ownership and management changed. While the name is new, the legacy continues. 

Our vision is to provide an experienced and caring staff along with the necessary technology to help keep the Laredo community healthy.  As these goals are met, we hope to become the hospital of choice for our community.
